We ordered this bed for our guest room, which is small. We also got the pop up trundle. The bed came right on time and in perfect condition. Assembly was a snap. We opted not to use the popup trundle in the guest room, instead we set it up as a seperate daybed in the basement storm shelter. All I can say about the free mattress is that it was free.....but it will do in the shelter. We highly recommend this bed, it gives an air of elegance to our guest room."..."  Read more

The bed is high quality and it only took my husband an hour to assemble. The color is not a true white, it is more an offwhite. Also, the free mattress is a joke. Not acceptable to use on a regular basis. I will let my 3 year old grandaughter use, but an adult could not sleep on the mattress. It came rolled up in a box--that is how cheap it is--I guess that is why is comes "free". I purchased this bed from Wayfair after shopping elsewhere as I thought the price, including the mattress, was better than others. Beware, cann get it for less. This bed was everything I expected. The frame construction, and stain was beautiful and solid. The mattress that came with the bed was a little on the flat side, but it was free, firm, and had an innerspring system. My sister visited for the holidays and slept quite well the whole week she was her. The bed was missing a needed washer for the frame which would have been a major issue had I not had one in my tool chest. They really should think about sending some extra washers and bolts for a chase such as that. However, all and all the build went smooth. I had it assembled in about 40 minutes using my own set of ratcheting Allen wrenches."..."  Read more

I put this daybed in the kids old playroom (a small room off of my kitchen) Its perfect! The frame is very sturdy, and quite decorative. I put it together myself, and I'm pretty small, and it was very easy. Took me about an hour to assemble. Unwrapping everything took longer than putting it together. The parts were wrapped well, and the instructions were easy to follow. The mattresses aren't the greatest, but I added a soft thick mattress pad cover, and it gave it a bit more cushion. The trundle is alittle tough to fold back down, but maybe because it is new. I would definitely recommend this daybed for a small guest room, or a childs room.
