FBG Bed Supports All Steel Bed Base

Wanted something that would look nice and simple looking PLUS- have to keep cats from playing inside the box spring frame--this does the trick and very reasonable price.

I have been looking for a bed like this for ages. Was planning to order from a hotel supply company when I found the same bed at Wayfair. (The keyword I had been using was platform, so hopefully this helps somebody else pull it up.) I fell in love with this style of bed during my travels for work. It just makes so much more sense than any other style of bed frame or platform bed, because the recessed style with the mattress sticking out protects your toes and keeps items from being pushed too far under the bed. The frame itself is sturdy and goes together easily and well. There is about 4.5 overlap on each side, and 6 overlap at the foot of the bed, on a queen bed with the bed pushed toward the toe. The arms wrapped tightly around my standard queen box spring. I love this bed and wish I had found it ages ago.

Sturdy, easy to put together. Like the fact that it goes all the way to the floor, thus no dust bunnies or things getting lost under the bed.

I bought this bed frame because my old one on wheels wouldn't stay put! This frame was really easy to put together and is stable on the floor without any danger of scratching it. Plus, no more dust bunnies under the bed!

Design is clever, but executing it is horrible. And the instructions are of little help. Once it is assembled, the bed base is fine. I can wait to reassemble it when we move.

This is an outstanding bed base that prvents toe stubbing because it is recessed from the box spring and mattress. I`ve had broken toes resulting from walking barefooted into my old bed frame and rollers. That cannot happen with this base.
