Very durable and more than useful
Stephen from Mountain City, TN
Bought this a couple of years ago to use for winter months when our wild animals have no access to liquid water. This bird bath lies on the ground and near an outlet by our pond. It automatically will start heating at 35 degrees. I have had it for 2 winters and it has been well used by squirrels, deer, birds, possum and skunk. Must use a short heavy duty extension cord. Also must fill as needed. Takes a bit less than a gallon of water. Pros: Well constructed. automatically will heat up when Temp gets below 35 degrees so the animals always have liquid water. Will melt snow. Cons: Must be filled as needed.

This heated birdbath is what I expected. It is well used in the winter by the birds. I do use some care cleaning the sides and bottom with a brush as I don't want the rough sand like finish to come off and I place a rock in the middle of it to make sure it doesn't blow away in our Kansas winds.
Love my new heated birdbath.

Awesome! No set up, just fill with water and plug in. It was -10c here to day and it worked like a charm. Just waiting for my little feathered friends to drop by. Great value. no disappointments.
