The built-in colander lid lets you strain and drain foods directly from the pan, eliminating the need for a separate colander. To strain, simply twist the lid in place to lock it securely and pour. Thanks to this feature, you'll enjoy having no colander to clean and no food accidentally pouring into the sink. To accommodate a variety of foods, the lid has large and small size holes. With its ''Full Cap'' Base Advantage, a stainless steel protector surrounds a thicker aluminum core for easy maintenance and better heat distribution. Since the entire surface is stainless steel, cleanup is easier. Enjoy a lifetime of beauty.

Love this Pot.... I ordered this pot not sure it would be what I wanted and boy was I surprised....It cooks great, has a pour lid that hooks so it won't come off when you are draining hot liquids, is a great size and cleans up so easily. |

Faberware THE LID DOES NOT LOCK SECURELY. NOT SAFE I would not Recommend. The Manufacture should actually test with boiling hot water and see how comfortable they feel by using!!!! |

Great Quality I have used Farberware pots for 30 years and I am very pleased with their quality and performance. I came across this Straining Stockpot on Warfair's website and ordered it because I liked the idea of the built in straining lid. It is very useful for so many things besides straining pasta. I purchased one for my son as well. Also ordering it from Wayfair was the best price that I came across. |

PERFECT! JUST WHAT I NEEDED FOR MACARONI AND POTATOES AND CERTAINLY ANYTHING ELSE THAT NEEDS DRAINING. THIS ITEM IS WELL MADE AND AN EXCELLENT SIZE. I HAVE THE SAME SIZE PAN FROM A SET I PURCHASED, AT LEAST 20 YEARS AGO, BUT WITHOUT THE DRAIN COVER. THAT IS THE ONE I USUALLY USED FOR MACARONI OR POTATOES. I GOT THIS ONE TO REPLACE IT AND I WILL BE USING THE OLDER ONE FOR SAUCE. I LOVE THIS PAN! HALF MY FOOD WILL NOT BE GOING DOWN THE DRAIN! |

Pasta Pot the Best Made in Taiwan, very nice. Had to donate the Chinese made Double Pack, totally cheap and the burnt plastic smell never went away. Wanted to buy USA, but could not find one like this. Farberware is the way to go if you want quality. |
