I ordered this pot not sure it would be what I wanted and boy was I surprised....It cooks great, has a pour lid that hooks so it won't come off when you are draining hot liquids, is a great size and cleans up so easily. I HAVE THE SAME SIZE PAN FROM A SET I PURCHASED, AT LEAST 20 YEARS AGO, BUT WITHOUT THE DRAIN COVER. THAT IS THE ONE I USUALLY USED FOR MACARONI OR POTATOES.
