Looks like most people dislike the weird gap between the mattress and the side of the bed, but I actually found the gap to be very helpful when I make the bed. I tack the blanket in that gap, around the mattress, just like shown on their picture and the bed looks nice and neat. )) I don't think you could do it if the mattress was tight against the side of the bed. This bed is very low, so your blanket might hang down and touch the floor if you dont tack it. The cool part is that you don't need the spring box with this bed. The wooden slats are arched up and are floating in the end brackets to imitate the springs, and they do a good job of that, however I don't think they could withstand jumping - they will just pop out of the end brackets. This bed was just what I was looking for - low, no sharp edges, soft, slightly cushy headboard (which is good for wiggly sleepers), modern looking and fun. I've got pink and lavender and they look great together in one room. I think pink and green would also look nice. But i have not seen the green in person. The pink and lavender colors are medium, not too bright and not too dull. Hope this helps! ))
Nice Bed but needs a little more support

I just received this bed in Greene. The color is cute and my daughter loves it. Putting it together was easy, though it is made very cheaply. Thus the price, However it is still a good purchase. Things to be aware of are. The bed frame is a little wider then the twin mattress, so there is a gap on both sides if you don't have it against a wall. It can be cover with a comforter and is minor. The one thing I do see as a potential issue is the wood slats at the bottom to support the bed. They are very thin and I can;t imagine them lasting long if she starts to jump on it. They are designed to add spring to the bed which is another thing I don't see a reason for. My wife and I both sat on the bed together. I am 160 she is 100lbs and we went rough though it. as actually funny and lucking the slats didn't break. They just came popped out of there holders. I am keeping the bed, but am going to reinforce it with my own "more studier" slats incase a guest wants to sleep on it. Otherwise it is really cute for the price. I hope this helps.

I read most of the reviews, but still took my chances. So glad I DID!! I love this bed! Well ok my 5 year old loves it better ; ) the company must have read the reviews also because I was getting ready for this long "assembly" process and it took me and my father 30min. to put together, and actually I could've done it myself! There was nothing to drill, nothing to difficult that we couldn't handle? The only thing that surprised me was the slates were bowed (that scared me) but that's the way it is. The only thing that you need to know is you only need a mattress don't get a box spring. One the slates are bowed so it will weeble wobble and two it will be too tall! there is space from the bed frame to the mattress but that's no deal breaker, that helps my kid learn how to put on her sheets by herself. I think the quality it really good and we got the lavender bed and its exactly like the picture. No bumps or bruises and shipped was fast (just FYI) its 2 pieces, the first piece came at there "2 day shipping" but the second piece came within 4 days.. still no deal breaker here! LOVE IT!
The Fantasia Upholstered Bed

I think that the Fantasia Upholstered Bed is stylish and comfortable. While it has quite a few good qualities it does still have some bad ones. Such as, it is fragile. It breaks easily so you can't stand on it or put too much weight on it. In my opinion is only other flaw Is that it is hard to put together It took quite a lot of yelling, cursing, and pain to get the bed put together. In the end I really do like the bed. It makes me feel happy to have something so stylish in my room and I sure can get a good nights sleep on it. As for the putting it together that was only one day of my life and considering the joy it brought me afterwards I think that the Fantasia Upholstered Bed is an excellent use of money. So if you have been interested in this bed I say you go ahead and buy it! Have a splendid day!
My daughter loves it

I ordered this bed along with the kids memory foam mattress. Wow, all I can say is that it's the perfect pink on pink combination for anyone's princess! It took me less than 1 hour to put it together...I don't know why others had a problem; the hardest part is tightening up some of the hex screws for the headboard and footboard. Otherwise, everything was a breeze (my 13 year old son helped!).
Have power tools!!

This bed is gorgeous once put together. The assembly was not so easy...until I went and bought the right tools and even then so frustrating. The feet need to be attached with screws to the headboard and footboard- there are no pilot holes in either, and the holes in the feet themselves are deep and narrow. So, with my handy power drill and extension, I attempted to attach...the extension was too wide to drive the screws all the way in. After buying a different extender, I was able to advance the screws most of the way, but even with a 3 1/2 inch extender, I couldn't drive them all the way in. I had to use two extenders and all of my weight (and patience) to finally get them flush with the headboard and footboard. The rest of the assembly was pretty easy.
Great kid & adult bed!

We use this for our 2 year old daughter so mom or dad can lay down with her if needed. She loves the bed - can get in and out by her own and we find it very comfortable too. The upholstery is very comfortable to lean back on for reading and will easily wipe clean when needed. We got the white color - it is white but has a very slight ivory tone making it work in spaces that require white or ivory. Great value for the price!

Just as most others are, I am very pleased with this bed (I purchased 2, green & lavender). I do a lot of online shopping and am usually at 3 or 4 stars with those items, not great but will do. These beds, however, are really well made, easily assembled, and perfect for kids. I love absolutely everything about them. The colors aren't overpowering in the room and really make the vibrant bedspreads pop (Bubble Guppies and Cars for now). These beds will easily grow with my children into their teenage years without looking too childish with just a change of bedding. By far the best large furniture online purchase I've made so far and at a excellent price.

This is a wonderful clean/sleek looking bed. Bought a full purple one for our 5 yr old and we loved it; love the fact that its a fully padded bed frame especially for kids rooms. For the price its a pretty decent and sturdy bed...headboard is very firm not flimsy. It could definitely very easily be moved around the room though since its not crazy heavy. Bought a green one for our 4 yr olds room now.

We bought this bed in a twin size, lavender color for our daughter who needed a bed upgrade. We were bummed to open the package of the headboard and find that it had been punctured during shipment. The box it came in was pretty beat up, so I'm hoping it was just handled very roughly and does not actually have flimsy material. I contacted Wayfair about the damaged headboard and they emailed me back within 24 hours letting me know they would send a replacement headboard within the next week at no cost to me. I was also not asked to return the damaged headboard, so that was nice. I was pretty impressed with the way they handled it, so I choose to still give the product a good rating.
