Great bed! from Knoxville, TN on 05/21/2013
Looks like most people dislike the weird gap between the mattress and the side of the bed, but I actually found the gap to be very helpful when I make the bed. I tack the blanket in that gap, around the mattress, just like shown on their picture and the bed looks nice and neat. )) I don't think you could do it if the mattress was tight against the side of the bed. This bed is very low, so your blanket might hang down and touch the floor if you dont tack it. The cool part is that you don't need the spring box with this bed. The wooden slats are arched up and are floating in the end brackets to imitate the springs, and they do a good job of that, however I don't think they could withstand jumping - they will just pop out of the end brackets. This bed was just what I was looking for - low, no sharp edges, soft, slightly cushy headboard (which is good for wiggly sleepers), modern looking and fun. I've got pink and lavender and they look great together in one room. I think pink and green would also look nice. But i have not seen the green in person. The pink and lavender colors are medium, not too bright and not too dull. Hope this helps! ))

Nice Bed but needs a little more support from Chappaqua, NY on 08/14/2012 – Verified Buyer
I just received this bed in Greene. The color is cute and my daughter loves it. Putting it together was easy, though it is made very cheaply. Thus the price, However it is still a good purchase. Things to be aware of are. The bed frame is a little wider then the twin mattress, so there is a gap on both sides if you don't have it against a wall. It can be cover with a comforter and is minor. The one thing I do see as a potential issue is the wood slats at the bottom to support the bed. They are very thin and I can;t imagine them lasting long if she starts to jump on it. They are designed to add spring to the bed which is another thing I don't see a reason for. My wife and I both sat on the bed together. I am 160 she is 100lbs and we went rough though it. as actually funny and lucking the slats didn't break. They just came popped out of there holders. I am keeping the bed, but am going to reinforce it with my own "more studier" slats incase a guest wants to sleep on it. Otherwise it is really cute for the price. I hope this helps.

Great Bed!! from Kennedale, TX on 02/11/2015 – Verified Buyer
I read most of the reviews, but still took my chances. So glad I DID!! I love this bed! Well ok my 5 year old loves it better ; ) the company must have read the reviews also because I was getting ready for this long "assembly" process and it took me and my father 30min. to put together, and actually I could've done it myself! There was nothing to drill, nothing to difficult that we couldn't handle? The only thing that surprised me was the slates were bowed (that scared me) but that's the way it is. The only thing that you need to know is you only need a mattress don't get a box spring. One the slates are bowed so it will weeble wobble and two it will be too tall! there is space from the bed frame to the mattress but that's no deal breaker, that helps my kid learn how to put on her sheets by herself. I think the quality it really good and we got the lavender bed and its exactly like the picture. No bumps or bruises and shipped was fast (just FYI) its 2 pieces, the first piece came at there "2 day shipping" but the second piece came within 4 days.. still no deal breaker here! LOVE IT!

Very impressed! from Great Mills, MD on 09/03/2015 – Verified Buyer
Got this bed about 4 days after ordering. Package was not damaged at all and bed was unharmed when we opened the package. Just moved into my new house and ordered this bed for my five year old daughter. We decided to go with a low profile full size bed because my daughter sleeps wild and sometimes fall out of the twin bed she was in because it sits up kind of high. We also went and got a very nice mattress for this because because that's all that's needed and my daughter loves this bed. We got the lavender color frame because that fits the color scheme of my daughters room. I work crazy hours but my wife put this bed together in like 20 minutes with no problems. I was impressed by how well constructed this bed is made and the color and everything was a dead on match for what you see on the website. Very nice bed if considering for your toddler or younger school aged child. I think they will enjoy it just as mine do. Remember, this is only a one week review so only time will tell if it last for the long haul.

Pros: Well constructed

Great bed and value! from Castle Rock, CO on 06/16/2015 – Verified Buyer
Highly recommend the Fantasia Upholstered Bed. For it's price it is an incredible value. I chose the full size and in pink (for my daughter) and it is just as pictured. The delivery was free and quick and assembly was easy. The slats supporting the bed seem sturdy enough (as long as no jumping on the bed happens). One item of note however is that the product description mentions a box spring is required. Do not buy/use a traditional box spring and mattress with this bed. If you do, the mattress would be so high you would not be able to see the headboard at all. I am glad I waited to buy the mattress set until the bed was assembled and went with a flat mini foundation (2.5" high) which supports the mattress as seen on the picture. Other than that we are extremely happy with our purchase!

Pros: Great value, easy to assemble, nice appearance!
Cons: Spacing between the mattress and the sides of bed (OK with comforter set

Fab bed for a child! from Big Lake, MN on 01/20/2015 – Verified Buyer
Great frame, we ordered it in pink. Arrived in perfect condition. Love all the padding, great for a child's bed. A bit of a pain to put together but very stable. We didn't use the slat system, we had a box spring to work into the system. So we just placed the box spring on the floor, wrapped it in a bed skirt and placed the mattress on top. Worked out well for us. I really like that stuff can't get under the bed. I would say the frame is 4-6 inches longer than a full size mattress, which leaves a gap at one end. We just tucked the comforter in between the mattress and frame to eat up the space. I gave it 4 stars because the frame is too long for the mattress.

The Fantasia Upholstered Bed from Rancho Cucamonga, CA on 10/11/2014 – Verified Buyer
I think that the Fantasia Upholstered Bed is stylish and comfortable. While it has quite a few good qualities it does still have some bad ones. Such as, it is fragile. It breaks easily so you can't stand on it or put too much weight on it. In my opinion is only other flaw Is that it is hard to put together It took quite a lot of yelling, cursing, and pain to get the bed put together. In the end I really do like the bed. It makes me feel happy to have something so stylish in my room and I sure can get a good nights sleep on it. As for the putting it together that was only one day of my life and considering the joy it brought me afterwards I think that the Fantasia Upholstered Bed is an excellent use of money. So if you have been interested in this bed I say you go ahead and buy it! Have a splendid day!

Fantastic! from Corpus Christi, TX on 10/11/2014 – Verified Buyer
Just as most others are, I am very pleased with this bed (I purchased 2, green & lavender). I do a lot of online shopping and am usually at 3 or 4 stars with those items, not great but will do. These beds, however, are really well made, easily assembled, and perfect for kids. I love absolutely everything about them. The colors aren't overpowering in the room and really make the vibrant bedspreads pop (Bubble Guppies and Cars for now). These beds will easily grow with my children into their teenage years without looking too childish with just a change of bedding. By far the best large furniture online purchase I've made so far and at a excellent price.

Great buy$$$$$ from CORONA, CA on 11/25/2014 – Verified Buyer
This is a wonderful clean/sleek looking bed. Bought a full purple one for our 5 yr old and we loved it; love the fact that its a fully padded bed frame especially for kids rooms. For the price its a pretty decent and sturdy bed...headboard is very firm not flimsy. It could definitely very easily be moved around the room though since its not crazy heavy. Bought a green one for our 4 yr olds room now.
Only thing is that the full bed has some room left on both sides and we can see the slats. Not sure if a queen size mattress would fit on it. Its not a biggie though since I stuff their comforters in the empty space. Overall would buy it over and over again.

Great kid & adult bed! from Columbus, OH on 05/14/2014 – Verified Buyer
We use this for our 2 year old daughter so mom or dad can lay down with her if needed. She loves the bed - can get in and out by her own and we find it very comfortable too. The upholstery is very comfortable to lean back on for reading and will easily wipe clean when needed. We got the white color - it is white but has a very slight ivory tone making it work in spaces that require white or ivory. Great value for the price!
