I Love My Pressure Cooker!
Shellbelle from Tampa, Florida – Verified Buyer
When ask by Wayfair to review one of their products, I already knew I would choose the Fagor Pressure Canning Set. I've never used one before and was a little apprehensive, but excited to give it a try. Being provided with the product in no way influenced my review. I read the manual, but the included DVD gave me all the confidence I needed to get started. Reading and then being able to see a demonstration made the difference. I've made dried beans, chicken soup and also the Peanut and Chicken Stew recipe from the DVD. All were fast, easy and delicious! This method of cooking really retains the flavors of my ingredients, unlike a slow cooker that cooks it out. I love the little pop up thingy that tells me when the pressure is built up and its time to start timing my recipe; it takes out all the guess work. I also love being able to cook faster; saves me time in the kitchen and energy costs. I've wanted to do some canning, but all the canners I saw were too big for my emptynest household. This one does four quarts or four pints at a time and that's perfect for a small family. I would recommend this for a wedding gift. The only thing I didn't like was that it comes with a rack, but I wish it was the kind with the handles for easy lifting in and out. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it to others who are interested in pressure cooking. Easy to use, easy to clean and a healthy way to prepare meals.

Large enough to can quarts and small enough for smaller batches. I especially like the adjustable pressure setting, since I live in Florida I rarely need the higher pressure that is standard on many other canners. Pros: Quality construction at a great price. Accessories are a great bonus as well. Cons: None
Love this kit!

This kit came with everything I needed as a beginner. I've also used it for pressure cooking with great success.

I am very happy with this canning set. I have a small garden, growing everything from tomatoes to okra, and this collection suits my needs. It's easy to use, not too expensive, and just right for a retired couple.

What a disappointment this product/set has been. Not only do I find the pressure cooker rather "cheap" feeling quality wise, but the pot is NOT dishwasher friendly (although it's manufactured to be). It came out all streaked and had a couple of little tiny rust spots on the rim.As if that wasn't bad enough, the laddle that was included was COVERED in rust marks. Both of these occured after only ONE wash cycle.I'm sorry I trusted FAGOR for quality since there isn't any[...]Cheap rip-offs and knock-offs and I'm sick of it really. And, fagor has no customer service # to contact them.Just write an e-mail and they'll respond when they FEEL like it.NEVER AGAIN!!!And I will definitely NOT recommend these products to anyone-EVER!
Ok canning set.

The pressure canning set is ok. The tools are on the cheaper side. I can a lot of tomatoes and the pressurizer with my ceramic stove top seems to squish them. I have the duo set of the 4 qt, 6 qt and 8qt, but wished that there was just one that would do the job.

Great. Had an electric pressure cooker, this is by far a better product.
This is very nice

Everything you need

Beautiful quality and as large as you would ever want to handle. All the tools are included. I have a big garden and freeze most things but this is great for tomatoes that all come at once.
faster cooking better flavor
Crystal from Morris, IL – Verified Buyer
Retains flavor much better than boiling, I made cajun bean soup in it in half the time and the beans were flavorful unlike when boiling, I have put chicken in it and it fell off the bone with ease. Ive cooked pork for sandwiches and after pork was done took two forks and shredded so eaily. saves allot of time. I used the stock from the chicken for soup. Its a great pressure cooker. I have not used it for canning yet.
