I Love My Pressure Cooker!

When ask by Wayfair to review one of their products, I already knew I would choose the Fagor Pressure Canning Set. I've never used one before and was a little apprehensive, but excited to give it a try. Being provided with the product in no way influenced my review.

I am very happy with this canning set. I have a small garden, growing everything from tomatoes to okra, and this collection suits my needs. It's easy to use, not too expensive, and just right for a retired couple.

What a disappointment this product/set has been. Not only do I find the pressure cooker rather "cheap" feeling quality wise, but the pot is NOT dishwasher friendly (although it's manufactured to be). It came out all streaked and had a couple of little tiny rust spots on the rim.As if that wasn't bad enough, the laddle that was included was COVERED in rust marks. Both of these occured after only ONE wash cycle.I'm sorry I trusted FAGOR for quality since there isn't any[...]Cheap rip-offs and knock-offs and I'm sick of it really. And, fagor has no customer service # to contact them.Just write an e-mail and they'll respond when they FEEL like it.NEVER AGAIN!!!And I will definitely NOT recommend these products to anyone-EVER!

This kit came with everything I needed as a beginner. I've also used it for pressure cooking with great success.
Ok canning set.

The pressure canning set is ok. The tools are on the cheaper side. I can a lot of tomatoes and the pressurizer with my ceramic stove top seems to squish them. I have the duo set of the 4 qt, 6 qt and 8qt, but wished that there was just one that would do the job.
This is very nice

Everything you need

Beautiful quality and as large as you would ever want to handle. All the tools are included. I have a big garden and freeze most things but this is great for tomatoes that all come at once.
Good for small batches/experimenting

This product was perfect for my needs. I started canning jams a couple years ago but this has allowed me to can sauces and stews, with the fresh veggies I get in the summer, for the winter. It's been wonderful to be able to pull out a jar of tomato sauce, a box noodles, and some winter greens for a quick, nutritious weeknight meal. The smaller size of this product also makes it easy for me to do small batches as my kitchen is small my other pots are small, and it's just 2 of us eating the food.
faster cooking better flavor
Crystal from Morris, IL– Verified Buyer
Retains flavor much better than boiling, I made cajun bean soup in it in half the time and the beans were flavorful unlike when boiling, I have put chicken in it and it fell off the bone with ease. Ive cooked pork for sandwiches and after pork was done took two forks and shredded so eaily. saves allot of time. I used the stock from the chicken for soup. Its a great pressure cooker. I have not used it for canning yet.
High Quality-Safe- Faster than Microwave

Haven't used Canner yet, but have cooked with pressure cooker for several years. soups and stews are so quick and easy to make. I can soak and cook dried beans in about 30 minutes. Cooks potatoes (pared and cubed) in 3 minutes at high pressure.
