I have been doing indoor cycling for a little while now and I have been a long time cyclist. This bike is a no frills bike for sure but in the end that is how I like it. I have been in charge of repairing the cycles at the local health club for two years now and I can tell you this bike will hold up just as well as any of those $1000 bikes out there. Sure the chain makes a bit more noise than belts. Not like it is all that loud anyway. Chains don't slip like warn belts. And who cares just turn up the radio. I like the pinch type friction pads over the press down type as well. The make for better control and longer bearing life. The bike was easy to assemble and comes with everything you need including the tools. I didn't use the pedal that came with it as I need clip-less pedals. they don't look like the best quality but the will spin out just fine. the seat is not the greatest. for the bulk of people only doing 30-45 min workouts it will be fine. If you do the 4-5 hour workouts like my wife...get another seat. The fly wheel is very smooth and friction control has a rapid ramp up. It is not a deal breaker but could get annoying for some. Likely needs some break in and it will be fine. I like the rapid ramp up but most don't. the platform is very stable and sturdy. The transport wheels are in a a little bit high place making the bike hard to transport around unless you tip it really far. Not a problem for me but if you are small and/or not very strong it could cause an accident while moving it. There is no micro adaptability to make for the absolute perfect fit. there is plenty of adaptability and 99% or people don't know how to fit their bike right anyway. Fits me just fine. Overall for the price paid it is a great value. Sure there are things that can be done better but those will cost you loads more money and in the end don't give you a better workout. Oh and no place to put a water bottle. No big deal just get a cage and zip-tie or glue it to the frame. Problem solved and hundreds cheaper. bottom line, if you want a good workout and don't want to spend tons of money get this bike. You want a high-tech, gadgets, marketing dribble about what makes a better ride, and art forms instead of the workout, buy something else."..." Read more
