Wibo 14.7 Cu. Ft. Composter

The item came even sooner than scheduled. It was not hard to assemble, although it took a little time to figure out how to do it. It is easy enough to use - essentially it's a big plastic garbage can with no floor, so the refuge falls on the ground. However, there does not seem to be any problem with scavenger animals getting access, which is good. Because a previous review mentioned that the top hinge broke very quickly, I have been careful not to 'drop' the lid when I add anything. The main question is how durable it is, but that will take a long time to determine. So far, so good. I suppose I could have spent more to get a version that included a 'stir' mechanism, or perhaps a mesh floor, so that the final compost material would be separated out. That is something to consider.

Well made, fairly easy to put together. Only thing I haven't gotten used to - I wish the top would stay up when you are adding to the composter. I have to lean it on my shoulder to keep it up and out of my way. The bottom entry doors make removing the compost easy - last one I had only had one door at the bottom and it made it difficult to remove the compost in the back of the bin.
Waiting for it to compost

It has arrived but it's a slow process as I'm sure you know in this cool winter before it starts composting. No problems setting it up it's just four walls and lid. We just put it in a position in the backyard that gets sun. The stuff that's in there will take a little to compost but it seems to be working so far. I can't give 5 stars until I've seen how it works and won't see that until it's done composting.

Unit is as pictured. The instructions to assemble weren't very good, but once I figured it out, things went quickly. The lid is a little difficult to secure but I think the tension is probably what keeps animals out, etc.

Works great for where I need it. Fits perfect in a small yard. Only down side always need to turn the product
Light, easy to assemble, made in Germany

Somehow, I'm reassured that because this composter, unlike just about every other on the market, is NOT made in China, the compost that comes out will not be laced with chemical contaminants and trace elements of heavy metals. The unit is easy to assemble even without instructions, has huge capacity, and blends in well with the green of the garden. The only minus is the top flap, which sometimes doesn't stay open when I'm throwing stuff in, but it's a minor issue.

What I was looking for
Kathleen Ferris from Tennessee
Large, strong, easy to assemble composter with convenient doors to remove finished compost. Made of recycled plastic, putting junk to good use. I bought two and am considering a third.
So far, So good

It's really too early to review this product except I can tell you it was pretty easy to put together. Not because the instructions were good but because it was logical. I cannot imagine why I wouldn't like it several months from now when the first compost starts getting shoveled out of the bottom doors. It would be really nice if this type of composter came with a tray. I had to make one out of rabbit fencing to nail it to the ground and keep critters out of it. So far it seems great.
