E/J Lightweight Wheelchair
gael from Worcester, MA– Verified Buyer
This chair works for me. I only need it to be transported to appointments and to get around in stores. I don't have to use it in the home. I ordered the larger seat, because I needed the greater weight capacity (300 lbs). I am somewhat over that weight limit and it wobbles slightly when pushed uphill, but not alarmingly so. I found it very difficult to locate a lightweight chair that would hold my actual weight. The capacity seems to stop at 300 pounds. Other than that, you have to jump up to a standard chair that can hold 400-500 pounds. Makes it more difficult for the person who has to put the chair in and out of the car/van and push you around. The footrests are sturdy enough for my big feet and swing aside easily. I could not argue about the price of this chair, and, as I was a first-time Wayfair.com customer I received an additional 10% AND free shipping!! I ordered the chair on a Thursday evening and I received it on Saturday!! Cannot argue with that kind of good service, either!!
Nice lightweight wheelchair.

This is a very versatile wheelchair with several options that can be chosen at purchase. I chose a 20 inch by 18 inch seat because I am tall and I had never seen that option before. It is perfect, well made and much lighter than the wheelchair I rented at my last surgery. Unlucky me, I need surgery on my ankle again and I am so pleased I purchased it. It cost no more than I would have paid to rent one for 3 months and it is mine. It is so much lighter than the previous chair that I actually lifted it out of the box that it came in with just a little difficulty because of the height of the box, not because of the weight. The arm lifts up with little difficulty and the elevated leg option is simple to use, much easier than the previous one I rented. A+

This wheelchair is much lighter that the traditional one. It folds up nicely and I can lift it into the back of the car without difficulty. It's sturdy enough to take up to 300 lbs and is fairly easy to maneuver for the person pushing it.. It's a wonderful alternative to the usual heavier chair especially for the caregiver..

I had 2 dislocated ankle breaks on Dec 13, 2010, surgery and a major hamstring pull all at the same time. Left me basically 100% immobile as crutches were just too painful. [...] For anyone looking for a temporary chair for something like a broken leg/ankle, this chair is perfect. It is fantastically flexible. I purchased with elevating leg lifts which I definitely needed the first few weeks. The ability to quickly add or remove the Wayfair is great. I've now been using the chair about a month and the durability so far has been very good. For the long term or for a permanent need, you'd want a more solid (heavy) chair, but for my need, it was the best deal for quality and price.Only caveat I'll mention is while the chair is light and folds quickly and easily, it definitely needs room even when folded (does not slip into a backseat even in my mid-sized SUV). It will need a large car trunk or most of the storage area in the rear of an SUV.Last bit of advice is to measure yourself and order the narrowest chair width based on your bottom - by doing that, I've been able to move through most areas and doorways in my house with no issue.
Very good product

After breaking my ankle and not being able to use crutches, I needed a wheelchair to get around. I spent a bit of time researching and found this product. I received it quickly and was very pleased. It's lightweight, yet very sturdy. It's comfortable, roomy and easy to use. I definitely recommend this wheelchair.

I am very pleased with the E&J Traveler L4 Wheelchair that I recently purchased. I have been wheelchair bound for 7yrs and I need a heavy duty, lightweight chair as I am in it much of the day. This chair is very sturdy and well built and is easily transported. The price was very reasonable and took only 3 days to be delivered. What's not to love about this
Pete from Ackerman, MS– Verified Buyer
This is a very high quality wheelchair. It rolls easily and weighs 31.5 without footrests. The only problem we had was one of the plastic plugs came out of the top of the post above one of the front wheels and we lost it. It isn't a required part, just makes the chair look better. We highly recommend this item. Everest and Jennings must be one of the higher quality manufacturers,.
Another wheelchair from Wayfair

We bought this wheelchair because is matched the model she received from Medicare at a much lower price without all the redtape. It was cheap and shipped the next day. Perfect -- so much so we have been buying all Mother's wheelchairs from Wayfair.
Just Right for Patient

I ordered this wheelchair for my mother-in-law. It was just the right size for her small size and was narrow enough to go through the bathroom door. Reasonably priced.

Product was exactly as advertised, arrived in a timely manner, and was very easy to put together. I would recommend this chair - great product at a very reasonable price.
