Great buy! Makes smoothies and shakes in seconds. I love the way the motor sits on top and it's so easy to pop on/off and then clean canister. My "only" complaint would be where the blade shaft goes up into top motor, sometimes the liquid/food gets up in it the hole and that is a bit of a pain to clean. Otherwise I would highly recommend this product.

This works very well.

I bought this food processor based on a national consumer magazine evaluation of blenders. This is a great system. The double-blade system in each of the 3 canisters does a terrific job of chopping, dicing, mixing or blending. I've chopped onions and nuts--no problems at all. I've also made veggie-fruit smoothies which are advertised on infomercials on TV with a different blender, and this one does a stunning job of turning fruits and veggies to very smooth drinks. The components are very easy to clean. I have not had any problems that others report of being unable to put the parts together, running the machine and damaging it. I carefully put the parts together which takes 10 seconds and it works perfectly. I highly recommend this food processor/blender.

When the large pitcher that comes with this product melted in the dishwasher shortly after we bought it, we were so dismayed not to have it available that we instantly bought a replacement pitcher. The instruction book says that the pitcher IS dishwasher safe. This is not the case. The warranty process requires sending ALL of the elements back (three containers, five lids, three or four cutting posts, the motor unit, etc.) with a check for $20. It was the same price and less aggravation simply to buy a replacement pitcher.

My sister had one and i was impressed! My expensive blender needed to be stopped and have ingredients stirred to make a smoothie with frozen fruit. The Ninja quickly gets those same ingredients smooth with no icy chunks. I also use it to chop vegetables instead of hauling out my big food processor. A wonderful product!
