The box the item came in was a wreck. It was completely beat up. Like someone returned it and then they sent to me like that. It was not the shipping box that was in such bad shape, it was the box the stand was in so someone packed it looking like that. The item itself I expected to be a bit more sturdy, but all and all it is fine.

Everything came as advertised. It is easy to set up and does keep our dog from bending his head down to eat. He is about seven plus years so we are grateful he can eat with ease..We have several cats and they gravitated right to the water bowel. Cats love to stretch out and they love to hang on to the stand and drink the water. This would work quite well for cats as well as dogs.

This was the nicest one that I saw for the price. It worked perfectly for my two cats to share. They seem to spill less on the floor and it is much easier to clean around.

For small dogs this is a great bowl. However it was too small for my 50lb dog! WE bought it to use as an everyday bowl, but now it's only used for travel. Good quality and gets the job done!

Some other reviewers mentioned that their cats didn't like the stainless steel - that's not a problem with my three cats! The bowls are easy to clean, the setup looks good, and my babies like it!

Product was exactly what I ordered. Wish I had gotten a larger one but it was my error. Did not think to look at the height of the product. Dog is really large. Not a product error but the fault is with the purchaser.

I have a persian cat and his face is so smushed that he has a hard time eating out of normal cat bowls. He has to really squish his face into them and ends up getting food all over the floor. I ordered the 1 qt bowls and they are PERFECT for his wide face! There is no longer cat food all over my kitchen floor! He also doesn't have to bend over so much to eat. I can tell he actually likes the new bowls as well. Also, I had wanted a wrought iron set like this after I saw my friend had one and hers looked very nice. This one was MUCH cheaper and just as nice!

I had a slight bit of trouble putting the legs on but only had to pull them apart a smidge to rectify the problem. I have three senior Tims* in my household and they much prefer eating without having to bend down. This feeder is perfect for them! I already had one but it's a wee bit lower and this one looks much smarter in my kitchen. I also bought a fountain for my cats here which they adore. *having been neutered they are no longer Toms.
