Espresso Machines

I bought this espresso machine for use at my office. Approximately 15 people use the machine, requiring a total of about 30 shots per day. The machine has held up nicely so far (bought in June 2010). We clean the brew unit weekly and the shot size seems to change based on the time between cleaning. Meaning, the shot size is very large just after cleaning and reduces as the week progresses. Yes it is expensive, but we use the machine to make cappucino & lattes and think it is just great. We can make both decaf & regular. The machine is very user friendly & comes with a video as well as the manual. Although it would fit on the counter beneath overhead cabinets, you would not be able to access everything. It really needs an open (no overhead cabinets) section of countertop to be functional."..."  Read more

This is a great little espresso machine, doesn't take up too much room. Read all instructions before use to get the best results. Steam will run out too soon for milk if machine is not prepped properly. Warm up time is quick. Great tasting espresso."..."  Read more

I received this espresso machine about two weeks ago and have been using it daily. It makes a great cappuccino - the frother is top notch and creates a terrific foam. The espresso does not always have a good crema even when the directions are followed to a tee. A little disappointing there. All in all - I think this machine is worth it for the price point.
