The entertainment unit is easy to put togehther. I did notice that the four door panels at the bottom of the unit were not edged nicely like the sliding doors and the panel doors of the other entertainment unit I bought also made by Sonax. Strange. The unit was just as pictured and the quality was on target. I thought the price was a real value. Putting the unit together seemed easy and the instructions were user friendly. I identified all the pieces before starting and put together in time for entertaining later the same day. The packkages (boxes) were extremely heavy when they were delivered but I had the UPS place them on the floor of the room where they were to be set up. I wanted my 42 TV to be a little higher but the unit sits low even with the legs appearing to be elevated.I am 56 and the top of the unit to sit the TV is just below my knees. I recently purchased the Cambridge Entertainment Center online after spending several weeks visiting furniture stores and not finding a decent priced entertainment center that looked nice. I wanted one with a wooden back behind the TV as opposed to those that are open. The Cambridge one fit the bill and was exactly the right size. I looks as nice as those I have seen in the stores for twice the price. Be careful if you are trying to match it to existing furniture. The chestnut finish is actually much darker than it appears in the picture and matches is a good match for cherry finishes."..." Read more

This is really a beautiful unit. I wanted something in black which is hard to find in stores so I went online. It made me nervous at first not seeing and being able to study the unit before buying but rest assured the unit looks exactly like the photo but strike me as bigger in person then in the pictures, Really is a great piece of furniture. Only issue what so ever is that back panel come in three piece and if they dont fit snug they can rattle, but i Put a small framing nail in and hasn't been a problem soon."..." Read more
