The entertainment unit is easy to put togehther. I did notice that the four door panels at the bottom of the unit were not edged nicely like the sliding doors and the panel doors of the other entertainment unit I bought also made by Sonax. Strange. Wow, what a great buy this unit was! I had a quote from a local carpenter to build in a similar unit for me for $7600.00... when I found this Hartford Entertainment Center for less than one third of the other quoted price.
I was skeptical when I placed my order as the only review I could see of this unit was one star and quite negative. I ordered it anyway, knowing that I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Was I ever pleased when it arrived in perfect shape, carefully packed in tons of styrofoam, and when I got it all set up, I was amazed at how great it looked in my living room with my new 70 inch 3D TV. I get nothing but compliments and of course I tell everyone my secret of where I got it from!
Yes, it's made in China, and I wish that we could make them in North America for the same price and employ our own workers; that's my only regret. Otherwise, I am nothing but ecstatic with this purchase."..." Read more

I was very skeptical ordering this entertainment center online, but Im so glad I did! It is absolutely beautful, appears to be a well built, sturdy piece of furniture. It looks much better than the picture and came mostly assembled. It only took a few minutes to set it up. I ordered this on 1213 and it was delivered 1215, even though I was originally told it would arrive by 1227. Im amazed at how fast I received it! I cant say enough good things about Wayfair and this entertainment center, both are exceptional! I look forward to doing business with them again."..." Read more

The unit was just as pictured and the quality was on target. I thought the price was a real value. Putting the unit together seemed easy and the instructions were user friendly. I identified all the pieces before starting and put together in time for entertaining later the same day. The packkages (boxes) were extremely heavy when they were delivered but I had the UPS place them on the floor of the room where they were to be set up. I wanted my 42 TV to be a little higher but the unit sits low even with the legs appearing to be elevated.I am 56 and the top of the unit to sit the TV is just below my knees.
