Entertainment Centers

Wow, what a great buy this unit was! I had a quote from a local carpenter to build in a similar unit for me for $7600.00... when I found this Hartford Entertainment Center for less than one third of the other quoted price. I was skeptical when I placed my order as the only review I could see of this unit was one star and quite negative. I ordered it anyway, knowing that I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Was I ever pleased when it arrived in perfect shape, carefully packed in tons of styrofoam, and when I got it all set up, I was amazed at how great it looked in my living room with my new 70 inch 3D TV. I get nothing but compliments and of course I tell everyone my secret of where I got it from! Yes, it's made in China, and I wish that we could make them in North America for the same price and employ our own workers; that's my only regret. I bought this entertainment center in Feb and it was delivered in March. It is a very beautiful and rich piece of furniture. It has excellent workmanship, with a lot of intricate details. We needed an entertainment center to hold our 65" tv, cover a large wall, not cost a fortune,and match our new leather furniture. This unit was perfect. Had difficulty getting proper measurements for tv height. It was given as holding a plasma up to 72". I had to look up dimensions on a plasma and compare with ours. Height was a little low but customer service said the shelf on top was adjstable. It didn't adjust enough so I modified it and raised the shelf 1 1/2". Worked fine and looks great.
