Wow, what a great buy this unit was! I had a quote from a local carpenter to build in a similar unit for me for $7600.00... when I found this Hartford Entertainment Center for less than one third of the other quoted price.
I was skeptical when I placed my order as the only review I could see of this unit was one star and quite negative. I ordered it anyway, knowing that I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Was I ever pleased when it arrived in perfect shape, carefully packed in tons of styrofoam, and when I got it all set up, I was amazed at how great it looked in my living room with my new 70 inch 3D TV. I get nothing but compliments and of course I tell everyone my secret of where I got it from!
Yes, it's made in China, and I wish that we could make them in North America for the same price and employ our own workers; that's my only regret. Otherwise, I am nothing but ecstatic with this purchase."..." Read more

I am very satisfied with my purchase. The piece is more unique than what a lot of local furniture stores offer. The construction quality was very high with the exception of one drawer having it's sliding mechanism not attached. My builder had to repair. Love this entertainment unit in my beach condo. It is distressed looking and goes great with cottage or shabby chic. Would recommend this unit to anyone. It does look whiter in the picture, though. This cabinet is gorgeous and very high quality. I love the lights at the top - at night they look amazing. I love the little cubbyholes and there is way more storage in the bottom than I expected. Most of my LR furniture is dark so this has done a great job of lightening it up and making everything look fresh. Note - the finish is mildly distressed.
