We are very happy with this entertainment center. I set out looking for something similar to the Tango entertainment center by Ethan Allen which was not in our budget. This one has the look I wanted and was in our budget. Our 55 TV fits perfectly. It is a very nice unit for this price point. It is a very well made, sturdy piece. The very top is not finished but I dont know if they usually are. The finish is a little glossier than I would have hoped but that is just because I like a real rustic look. It is packaged very well and the hardest part of putting it together is unpacking it. It took my husband about two hours to put it together. There are leveling screws on the bottom of the feet that need a little adjusting to get the 3 pieces all at the same level. We had a few issues with the finish in just a few places. I called Wayfair and they addressed the issue to my complete satisfaction. The customer service was excellent. I will definitely feel confident purchasing from Wayfair again."..."  Read more

The unit was just as pictured and the quality was on target. I thought the price was a real value. Putting the unit together seemed easy and the instructions were user friendly. I identified all the pieces before starting and put together in time for entertaining later the same day. The packkages (boxes) were extremely heavy when they were delivered but I had the UPS place them on the floor of the room where they were to be set up. I wanted my 42 TV to be a little higher but the unit sits low even with the legs appearing to be elevated.I am 56 and the top of the unit to sit the TV is just below my knees. Absolutely top notch quality and beautiful piece of furniture! we bought this entertainment center to house a new LCD TV, and to hide away the associated electronic components, several gaming systems, DVDs, game discs, and speakers. The quality of the wood and finish is second to none, and an absolute steal considering the price for such top notch solid materials and fine craftmanship. We shopped around, and could've easily paid just as much or more for an entertainment center maid of manufactured board and veneers. The photos of the pull out DVD storage on the website don't do it justice. We thought they were pretty, but probably impractical. Actually, they are gorgeous, sturdy, and very practical. Lots of storage!. In addition to the LCD TV in the pictures (which don't do the color or finish of the wood justice - they were taken with an iPhone), hidden away are left and right 14" Bose speakers, a satellite TV receiver, a Wii game system, a PS3 game system, and a DVD player. Not to mention plenty of books and other things. There are a couple of imperfections in the layout/design. 1) Most high-end home theatre receivers that manage video and sound are too long to fit straight in any of the cabinets. My fault for not checking the dimensions more closely on my receiver, but I had to set it on it's side, and at an angle in the right tower in order to be able to shut the glass door. That brings up problem 2) my receiver generates a lot of heat (as does the PS3, but not as much as the receiver), and that heat is trapped inside the glass door and glass shelves in that tower. I think in addition to the wiring ports at the back of the cabinets, a little additional space could be opened to allow airflow for keeping electronics cooler. 3) If you run electronics in more than one cabinet, and want to plug them into a surge protector, but want the center to sit flush against the wall, you will have a difficult time finding a place for the surge protector to go. I think there is more than enough space in the cabinets to open up a cavity of space behind part of the center just for placing surge protectors to plug things into. I know, these are really nit-picky complaints, but there the only ones I can come up with because this is otherwise a FABULOUS piece of beautiful, sturdy, elegant furniture."..."  Read more

This item arrived within days of ordering, not a single nick or dent in any of the pieces. It went together easily, though it did take a little time. My only complaint, if you can call it that, is there should be a bracket-like piece to join the tower to the main piece. Like another reviewer suggested, we put sliders on the units before we pushed the whole thing in place which made it much easier to move and adjust. I'm not a fan of flat-screens mounted to the wall, but the support panel gives the effect of custom built furniture. Something I did not realize is the very top of the whole unit provides for even more display area, also the narrow (about 5" wide) pieces along the sides prevents any notice of wiring behind the unit when you're looking at it from the side. My only minor concern is how the shelves mount, I would prefer something a little more substantial holding them in place, but since you put it together yourself, you are aware that something exceptionally heavy on them would not be a good idea. Just common sense. Believe me, I have "treasures" on my shelves, just nothing mega heavy. Overall, once put together it is quite attractive. We are more than pleased!"..."  Read more
