End of Bed

Really beautiful piece. I love Wildon Wood designs because of their use of solid woods instead of particle board. Also own a Wildon Home desk and set of nesting tables. The legs and structure appear and feel to be solid wood. My 4 year old daughter helped to assemble - it was easy and fun. First bedroom bench I've ever had. Discovered that It is so nice to not have to put on socks, etc, while sitting at end of bed, especially since my luxurious S&F mattress set goes up to about 40" with the pillow-top height, regular box spring, and regular frame. This provides a much better place to sit while getting dressed. Also the storage inside is so handy. I'm currently using to store some of my important paperwork temporarily until get new file cabinet. Inside of bench holds 4 high stacks of paper. The hinges work great for propping the top up. I liked the raised design for air flow underneath as our heat vents are low on wall. One thing though - the "leather" is not in my opinion 100% real leather. I know leather when I feel it. This product is made of "bonded" leather I believe, or synthetic, or bycast. It does not have the feel of real leather like the sofa I'm currently sitting on. We were in need of a storage bench that would be used at the foot of our bed for storage of a comforter and/or blankets and to use for seating. Many, if not most, of the benches we reviewed were too low for our purposes. The Milano Leatherette Upholstered Storage Bench turned out to be just what we were looking for. The piece is the perfect height, high quality, looks good, has a lid that remains up until you lower it, and offers the option of having it sit flat on the floor or on short legs at each corner of the bench. I purchased this bench, in order to help me with a storage problem in my bedroom. My bedroom is if average size, without a large walk in closet...which I grew accustomed to in my last home. In order to solve my problem of where to store my PJ's...I thought let's try a storage bench... All of my PJ's fit in the bench (and I have a lot of PJ's). The bench is well made and looks just like the picture. The only problem...a little shorter than the measurements state, and it is not hinged. Quality benches of this type are hard to find at a good price, and this bench is high quality, well crafted, and at a very good price. The wood is sanded and very smooth. All you have to do is attach the four legs by tightening four bolts--takes all of ~ 10 minutes to unpack and do the legs. It is an unfinished piece but this gives you the opportunity to match the finish to other pieces in the room, something difficult to do when a factory chooses the finish instead of you. All in all I couldn't be more pleased with this bench or with Wayfair. They processed and shipped my bench order quickly with opportunity to track my order.
