End Tables

Table very looks great and fits in perfectly with our family room. The instructions were poor, without enough content. I put the table together by myself until I hit the last step, the top of the table. It simply would not go on flat. Checked all the cams and pegs and they were fine. After fighting with it for over 1/2 hour, I got my husband involved and we tried unsuccessfully to get the top on. Out of frustration, I put the table in a corner and said it would wait until the next day. My husband, being an engineer took a look at the table later and was able to see that the back piece of wood was too tall. He removed 1/4" and then we put it back in and the top went on great. Therefore, BE WARNED, if you are having problems putting the table top on (last step in poor directions) check the board that slides into place on the back of the table. There is a slot for the board to rest in, but even after putting the piece in the slot the board was too tall."..."  Read more

These end tables compliment my leather loveseat and chair in our living room. They tie into a coffee table and end table I've had for years and still love. However, they were made of oak, glass, and metal legs. The metal on the end tables match what I already head and compliment my wooden floors and stone fireplace. This is definitely the perfect end table for anyone who has pets! Before I purchased this, my dog had accidently bumped my end tables, tipping over and/or breaking a lamp several times. Now, it wouldn't matter if he crashed into it chasing a ball! The table is sturdy and with the lamp permanetly attached through the table...no more accidents! The advantage of the storage area under the table is an added bonus. The ONLY reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the lamp shade was a pain to put together and is not that attractive.
