I own quite a few Chatham pieces and everything I've ever gotten from them has been fantastic quality and really, really beautiful. If you get the natural cherry, it will darken over time to an absolutely beautiful reddish-brown color that will add warmth and richness to whatever room it is in. I highly recommend leaving the wood natural. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with my furniture, and I think it was really fairly priced, too, considering the quality. I've had to force myself to buy a few quartersawn oak pieces (non-Chatham) from a different manufacturer, just because I love the Chatham cherry SO much that I've bought a lot of it over the years and am afraid of my entire house looking too matchy-matchy.
