I hate faux anything, and I'm not wild about things made in China. This table is both -- and it's stunning. The distressing/deliberate aging are very well done, the colors and gold highlighting are muted, and the 10-minute, no-brainer assembly result in a beautiful "period piece" without the antique price tag. The drawer is lined in felt, which is not a huge deal, but it's a nice extra, and the glides on the bottoms of the legs are also a bonus. My decorating tastes are eclectic, and with my brass/glass coffee table and (new) 1940s-evoking tailored, tufted-back, single-cushion couch, this table lends a delicious "pop" and aesthetic "weight."[...] a fine online experience. These are reverse painting on glass. The glass tops are firmly attached. The colors go perfectly next to my sofa. I didn't want to have a coffee table because the room is long and narrow, and a coffee table would have filled up the space too much. These will work perfectly when we eat in that room so that guests can set down plates or glasses.
