Great tagine for cooking. Look is great (I got red), easy to use and to clean. Even comes with a little booklet of instructions/tips for dishes. |

Emile Henry Tagine I almost purchased the Le Creuset version of this type of cookware, but liked the ceramic material of the Emile Henry better than cast iron. The price was also much more reasonable, and overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Beautiful piece of cookware and large enough to cook a big meal. I concur with other reviews that you need to watch how much liquid you add to the recipe as it will spill out. Also, instead of using water for the beef tagine recipe that came with the unit, I would suggest beef broth, with some red wine. |

The Tajine is a brilliant idea. The Tajine can be used to let contents linger in their natural juices and stay moist. It can transfer right to the table as it has an unusual and striking look. |

Emile Henry Tagine----"top" quality! Use this for either planned dishes with specific ingredients at first. After using it for just a few times, you will want to use you left-overs, or make your own recipes, maybe the more off-the-cuff or to-your-fancy, the better. EASY to try out different flavorings, meats, veggies. The cooking is slow---that's its basic use---and so flavors will mingle and meats and veggies will tenderize. You might want a good salted bread alongside, with a beer or dry wine. |
