Inspired by his mother Hilda to become a professional chef, Emeril first worked at a Portuguese bakery where he mastered the art of bread and pastry making. After high school, he turned down a full music scholarship to pursue his love of cooking. He earned an undergraduate degree and honorary doctorate from the legendary Johnson and Wales University. Then traveled to Paris and Lyon to study the classic art of French cuisine. Returning to the States, Emeril polished his skills in fine restaurants in New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
When the Big Easy called, Emeril answered by becoming executive chef at the famous Commander's Palace. He's been treating us to his talents ever since these days, in restaurants of his own making. Emeril is the chef-proprietor of 10 restaurants, including three in New Orleans, two in Las Vegas, two in Orlando, one in Atlanta and one in Miami. Emeril has just opened his tenth restaurant in June 2007, Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Also an established cookbook author, Chef Emeril Lagasse has authored five books!

Hard to clean cooked in grease Product Review Was expecting better easier cleaning pan from a high quality brand. I used corn oil made two sunny side eggs, fit and came out perfect. Now comes the but! After my meal I went to clean the pan and thought it would be easy with dish soap and sponge since the eggs didnt stick to pan. Wrong, the oil spots on the side and rim couldnt come off with soap and sponge. I m afraid to use anything rough. Other than that nice pan. Service Review Quick delivery. |

All Clad at a great price Product Review What a great little frying pan. I wanted to test out the All Clad product since I heard so much about them and the Emerilware line seemed the most reasonably priced. I loved the pan for quick even cooking and now Im looking for a complete set. Very heavy duty, quality and easy to maintain. Cant wait to get my hands on the big pieces. Service Review Awesome as usual. Dont quite understand why people drive to crowded stores and pay premium retail with service like this. 4-7 day shipping arrived in three. |

prettier than my pewter wine goblets.... this 8" ss pan sees more action than any other pot or pan i own. i use it every day to fry grilled cheese sandwiches, eggs over light, and omelets. i also use it for butter browning my sandwich buns, cooking my smoked sausages and burgers. i no longer need to shut off the smoke alarm when using my frying pan. hardly ever needs washing--wipes clean with a paper towel. has a beautiful pewter-like luster, so i let it rest on top of the stove these days and just let it shine on.... :) |

Best eggs I've ever had! That was the compliment my husband gave me when I made eggs for him in this pan for the first time. Considering I've cooked him many eggs over the last nine years that's a pretty darn good compliment. I'm still getting used to cooking with stainless steel, but I'm happy with it overall. Even cooking with the tri-ply. I'm still lost on how to keep it looking as shiny as the day it arrived. I'd like to do this without harsh chemicals. Other than that, great little egg pan! A gift code was provided to me by Wayfair for a feature at my blog and this review. The above review is truthful in nature and none of the wording has been bought. What a great product! What a great pan. I thought everything would stick and I was wrong. I was able to cook the way I normally do but faster. I was able to serve at the table with it. Without sticking and looks great! |

Great Small Pan Product Review I am currently replacing all of my old non stick pans with stainless and thought that I would start with a small pan. This one has been perfect for things like grilled cheese or cooking a few eggs. It is easy to clean as long as use don't use olive oil and let it get too hot. I did this and had to get a stainless steel cleaner, and then it cleaned up nicely. I would recommend sticking with butter or reg. oil and you shouldn't have any trouble. Wayfair sent me this product to review and I couldn't be happier. It's a great little pan. Service Review I received this item very fast and it was packed very well. |
