About Chef Emeril Legasse
Inspired by his mother Hilda to become a professional chef, Emeril first worked at a Portuguese bakery where he mastered the art of bread and pastry making. After high school, he turned down a full music scholarship to pursue his love of cooking. He earned an undergraduate degree and honorary doctorate from the legendary Johnson and Wales University. Then traveled to Paris and Lyon to study the classic art of French cuisine. Returning to the States, Emeril polished his skills in fine restaurants in New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
When the Big Easy called, Emeril answered by becoming executive chef at the famous Commander's Palace. He's been treating us to his talents ever since these days, in restaurants of his own making. Emeril is the chef-proprietor of 10 restaurants, including three in New Orleans, two in Las Vegas, two in Orlando, one in Atlanta and one in Miami. Emeril has just opened his tenth restaurant in June 2007, Emeril's Gulf Coast Fish House, in Gulfport, Mississippi. Also an established cookbook author, Chef Emeril Lagasse has authored five books exceeding two million in sales!

great pan. Had nice rough finish that takes on a patina as you use it. Then in time, it gets smoother and becomes very non-stick. |

I would buy this product again and again We always wanted a cast iron Grill pan. This product is perfect in that it is an excellant size for two people. We have cooked kebabs in them and just love the way they cook so evenly. We plan on doing chicken pieces and salmon. A friend does harvest vegetables in hers and says she wouldn't use any other pan. We haven't found anything that isn't great about it. |

"BAM!" I Love This Emerilware Grill Pan! Product Review I just love the grill marks that this skillet leaves on my chicken breasts and fish fillets!I thought it would be difficult to clean, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to wash.Because cast iron needs seasoning, this skillet will only get better with time.I was provided this skillet and was asked to review this product. Thanks,Wayfair! Service Review Arrived in perfect condition. My customer service rep, Ashley, was very friendly and helpful. |

Hm...Stripes. This grill pan is nice, but not something I use every day, like my other cast iron cookware. At first, I was using it a lot, but it's a pain to clean, so now, I use it fairly rarely. We grill (on an actual grill) in warm weather, so this is more of a winter thing. |
