So I have been on the hunt for a brass shower curtain rod for a year now! They dont exist and if the do they are poorly made or insanely expensive! This one is GORGEOUS! Wow It was slightly too long but for the price I bought it anyway...I cut about an inch off before installing it then drilled the hardware into the tile...it was first time drilling into tile and I was a little nervous but it was just as easy as drilling holes in a wall! This is a full length rod, not one of the telescoping versions or s split rod with a connector in the middle. This rod was easily cut with a hacksaw for my smaller opening. The rod comes with two end caps/feet each with a rubber pad to better grip the wall. The rod slips into a cup on each foot. One foot has a longer cup. The larger cap is connected to its wall pad by a large threaded bolt. Twisting the cup applies pressure to the wall pad, locking the whole rod assembly to the walls.
