Not As Advertised

Wayfair advertises items as new but the item I ordered was usedrefurbished. The sealed plastic package had been opened with a utility knife at some point. It appeared the item had been repackaged and then taped shut. A replacement they sent was also already opened. If I want to return the item they will bill me for shipping both ways which will deduct 35 from my refund (on a 50 purchase). Elements of Design is not the manufacturer, it is Vilbosch (never heard of them). The Elements of Design label is just a sticker with their SKU and a barcode on the back of the package. The whole thing seems shady to me.
