I already own several Cinni fans that are identical to this. Since they are no longer available in the US, I was excited to find this fan. On the pro side, it is solidly built the old fashioned way out of heavy gauge steel and assembled with screws and nuts and bolts, not flimsy clips or snap together plastic. On the con side, the fan speeds are all very similar. There is no real low speed. I would like to see a wider range of speeds. Also, you can't beat the retro styling if that is how your home is decorated. Bottom line, these fans are a good combination of functionality and style. A note for those who are not used to old fashioned motors, these fans should be oiled at least once a year at the motor shaft with lightweight oil. There is an oil hole in the front behind the fan blade and at the back of the motor housing next to the oscillating gear box."..."  Read more

I have tried a number of small fans and this is the first one that I am truly satisfied with. It is very, very quiet (my first priority) and produces a nice "breeze". It is perfect for improving air circulation in a good sized room, without feeling like you are in a wind tunnel. The design is modern and seems to be well-made. The only complaint I would have is that the rubber feet tend to come loose, and I have had to re-glue them on the two fans I perchased. It only has one motor speed, but it seems to be the perfect speed for proper air movement and quiet operation."..."  Read more

The tower fans are great but we found that only two screws which hold the base lined up so that we could use it. The other two screws did not. We have bought this brand of fan before and this fan did not meet the quality of the other fans we have used in the past. I am not sure why since they are the same brands and the price was comparable. But they do the job, I hope we don't have trouble with the base in the future"..."  Read more
