I already own several Cinni fans that are identical to this. Since they are no longer available in the US, I was excited to find this fan. On the pro side, it is solidly built the old fashioned way out of heavy gauge steel and assembled with screws and nuts and bolts, not flimsy clips or snap together plastic. On the con side, the fan speeds are all very similar. There is no real low speed. I would like to see a wider range of speeds. Also, you can't beat the retro styling if that is how your home is decorated. Bottom line, these fans are a good combination of functionality and style. A note for those who are not used to old fashioned motors, these fans should be oiled at least once a year at the motor shaft with lightweight oil.
