Great bed for the money!
Kevin from Georgetown, TX – Verified Buyer
The bed arrived in 3 boxes via FedEx, with no damage or missing parts. Because I wanted it to be as sturdy as possible, I added carpenter's glue to the 7 legs before screwing them in, and let them cure overnight. The side rails are held in place with 8 hex screws, and they include a small hex wrench for the job. But that wrench is so small you'll have difficulty getting the screws tight enough. Use a hex wrench with a handle, and you'll get better results and make the bed less likely to wobble. A tip for the slats - line them up properly and screw in the 6 outer screws first. Then "square" the bed. (Measure from one corner diagonally to the opposite corner. Then measure the distance between the remaining 2 corners. Shift the footboard until the measurements match - in my case, 101 3/8 inches.) With the bed squared, screw in the remaining 3 middle screws. That should keep the bed reasonably square, and make it easier to get mattresses in and out of the frame. A WORD ABOUT SLEEP NUMBER MATTRESSES: While the bed slats should be fine for standard mattresses, they won't work for Sleep Number mattresses, which require a flat surface. In a pinch, you could probably use the cardboard from the box the headboard comes in - it's nice and thick and would probably hold up. Just lay it on top of the slats. But I chose to go to Home Depot and get a couple of pieces of 1/8 inch fiberboard (less than $20 even after being cut to size). Bottom line: For the money, this is an incredible bed. The wooden support pieces are glued laminates, which are cheap - but they're also very strong and resistant to warping. And you don't see them once the bed is assembled, anyway. The stuff you can see - the imitation leather and the wooden feet - look great and have a high level of finish. If you spent this much money at a certain Swedish furniture store, you'd get half the quality or worse. I would buy this bed again in a second!
3 stars at best

The outer construction of the bed frame is pretty solid. The parts wrapped in vinyl. However the center support beam and pegs were very poor. Perhaps it would have held up better on a carpeted floor. I have a pergo (hard wood laminate) floor. It only took one night for the center support pegs to collapse. The bed slid, and when this happen, the center support pegs angled out and then snapped out of the center support beam. They were toast. I fabricated my own center support beam from a 2x4 of REAL hardwood, not the Chinese layered "hardwood" that came with it, and also fabricated some 2x4 center beam support pegs. Since then the bed is SOLID. So, the price, gets the 3 stars, the missing 2 stars are for the poorly constructed center beam and pegs. Expect to do some upgrades to this frame if you purchase it.
Simple Look, Easy Assembly

This bed was a really good price. It came in three boxes: headboard/footboard, supporting slats, and side rails. All you have to do is screw the legs on, pop on the side rails and screw tight, then pop on the slats and screw them in. There are three supporting legs in the middle but they don't touch the floor unless you're on the mattress--I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way. There are 6 inches between the floor and the bottom of the bed--I wish it was an inch or two higher so I have more options for those under-the-bed storage boxes. The slats are about 12 inches off the ground.
Great bed, FANTASTIC value

I bought this in a queen size for my guest bedroom. I was a little nervous because many of the reviews reference it for kids which I assumed would be a smaller size. The bed looks wonderful and feels sturdy. I have no qualms at all. Realistically, it's a low cost leather covering and I'm sure it won't hold up to aggressive wear, but it's a bed frame ... there isn't a reason it needs to be durable. On construction, I didn't notice to put the provided washers on before screwing on the legs so I chewed up the (unseen) leather underneath. Oops. Overall, assembly was simple and straightforward. It really looks great and I'm shocked at what a good value it is.
Good choice but...

Love this bed, like other buyers said, it was easy to put together. I love the style and seems sturdy. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because there were flaws in some of the pieces of the bed. One of the bed legs was screwed up, doesn't matter how much I tried, it was still loose after I attached it to the bed frame. And on the other side of the bed, there wasn't even a hole to tighten the bed leg. I called the manufacture and left a voice. No response what so ever. So I decided I'll just put the bed together without the bed legs and it looks great anyway.
Eco Lux Padded Platform Bed

For the price, I rate this bed as good. It looks very nice and is easily put together by one person. I doubt it would stand up to strenuous use, but for sleeping it seems sturdy enough. I put furniture sliders under the legs but will still move it carefully. If you want better quality, spend more money. I had an issue with damage to one of the side rails but the customer service team had a replacement part sent almost immediately. My sincere appreciation and 5-STAR ranking go to the customer service reps who assisted me.

Sturdy and solid...actually real wood! Fitting together took less than 30 min. Only time will tell if real-looking fake leather will hold up to my 4 year old son. 9 inch memory foam mattress [no box spring] completed the look in his room very well at a very practical overall height. Though my son has repeatedly jumped on this bed and it has stood in place with zero creaking...4 stars as upholstery may tear sometime down the road...hopefully never.
Worth more than what I paid

I just assembled this bed frame and am really impressed. First off, the Queen came in three (3) boxes, I had wondered that but not seen any info. The "leather" does not cover the back of the head board so it is planned to be against a wall; but it would be simple to amend if you are even slightly handy. Super easy assembly. I did most of it with my fingers and only used the provided tools for final tightenings; you may need a screwdriver but I didn't think it necessary to screw the slats to the frame so I didn't. Bonus points, the corners and fasteners. The metal bolts and fasteners are more robust than I am accustomed to seeing in anything like this price point. A person likely could take this appart (say to re upholster it) and put it all back together easily without stripping anything in my opinion.

This bed was delivered on time and as others have mentioned in three boxes, which were in good condition and not hard to handle, even alone. I don't consider myself the handy type at all, but I had no problem at all putting the bed together by myself in roughly 40 minutes! The instructions were very clear and actually had words, which I appreciated! The materials and hardware feel sturdy and definitely not "cheap" as I had worried considering the price. It looks absolutely wonderful! The only reason I didn't give the bed 5 stars is because I haven't had an opportunity to actually use it yet as my mattress (a memory foam, also purchased from Wayfair) won't be here until tomorrow. I will update this review once I get to put it into use with the new mattress.
Great bed - good quality and easy to put together
Dawn from Knoxville, TN – Verified Buyer
I bought the twin size of this bed for son's room. Shipping was pretty fast and UPS delivered it to my house. My son and I carried it upstairs (wasn't too heavy) and we put it together before my husband got home from work. Its a small bed - sits pretty low to the ground but it is perfect for a child's room. Seems pretty sturdy (considering the price and the fact we put it together), the stitching on the headboard is good quality also. The packaging was nice that it didn't get damaged during shipping. I highly recommend this bed... we have been pleased with it.
