Liner did shut out light. Be very careful on measurements--width and length that they cover completely.

These were a perfect size for the Church windows, put on tension rods and WOW, they blackout'd the windows so the kids during VBS could watch movies in the middle of the day.
Perfect Black out liners!

I ordered the liners for my guest room and hung them on the inside of semi sheer lacy curtains. They are exactly what I needed - the room is now so dark, even in broad daylight - perfect for a nap. Such a great value - I'd been looking at black out curtains and am very pleased that I could keep my existing curtains, but get the results I needed. The liners are very easy to attach (little hooks that adhere to the rod pocket, and are not visible from the room. I've already recommended the liners to my daughter - an excellent product and value.

This item is as good as I had hoped it would be. The panels serve to block out bright sun and heat in the summer, and I am sure they will help keep the room warmer in the winter. The only drawback is that the tabs (meant to be attached to curtain hooks) are thin and, therefore, weak. I ended up sewing the panel directly onto the curtain. I am still, however, pleased with this product.

Very useful product. It is light enough to use with a spring type rod and yet serves as a source of insulation. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good quality and really work for any bedroom in your house
Ok so far!

So far most of my purchases here have been pretty good. Some of the quality is lower, but I think it's in mind with the cost. The liner panel here has worked out ok so far though!

Blocks out the sun. I wish someone would develop a less thick fabric to do this but all blackout seems to have to be kind of stiff.
