beautiful but noisy!

i was so excited to get this fan. i loved the great red color, retro styling and compact size, just what i was looking for. BUT, i thought an airplane was taking off in my sons room! it was so loud and powerful that i couldn't believe it was a desk fan. i had hoped for a softer, quieter sound. there was also a rattle sound. without being able to turn it down, as there is only one speed, the fan will not work for us.

Great Little Fan

Great little fan and quite powerful after it warms up. Very sturdy and the color is fantastic!. Wish it had a high and low speed. It's a little noisy, but no more so than most fans.
