The Eatsmart Nutrition scale, is a complete scale with my Diabetes, keeps me in check with the carbs that I'm allowed per meal and snacks. Make sure you check with your doc on weight lost I did. With this I've drop from 210 to 195lbs in my target weight, feel much better. Time frame for me was 3month.The LCD screen was a little dark at first, but hit the light symbol and you light up your life, clear as a bell. Being a cook the scale is great, bouncing back and forth between Oz. & Grams, the Codes in the code book is easy to find, and a place to write down your favourites. Great scale easy to use

This makes calculating what you eat so much easier. Most foods are already stored in the scale, simply put in the food code listed for you and it will tell you the nutrient info about any food placed on the scale...(the calories, fat, carbs, protein, etc) You may place your plate or bowl on the scale first and then add food one item at a time. If you have a food label, you can enter grams per serving size and then put in your calories per serving size and it will tell you exactly how many calories, or fat grams or carbs.. etc.

It's terrific to leverage the built-in database of ingredients, rather than having to estimate via a book or website.

I use this product to portion out serving sizes for meal. It's accurate and so easy to use. Plus, it provides additional info (calories, fat, carbs, etc) that is helpful in balancing nutritious meals. Great product!
