Andrew Dimock has been working on older homes since he was a small child, assisting his father in maintaining their rental properties. At an early age, he developed a great appreciation for the craftsmanship, design, quality, character, and history of 19th and early 20th century homes. After purchasing his circa 1900 home in the Park Avenue neighborhood of Rochester, he spent 12 months restoring and renovating the home. While consumed with that work, he decided that he would learn to work with stained glass to enhance the house. Once he completed the bulk of his renovations, he took a class and quickly discovered he had a native talent for stained glass. And so was born Dymoke Studios. Andrew also works as a Project Manager and Senior Consultant for a web development and strategic consulting firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The George Washington University and a Masters of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management. The Edgerton Cross is a representation of the moment immediately following an early fall evening rain storm. Just as the clouds are parting and the sun is setting, the remaining light contrasts starkly with the darkened sky, the edges burning amber.
