I have an English Bulldog (75 lbs) and a Basset Hound (45 lbs) and I take both of them for bike rides in it--as neither of them can keep up for very long--and it works great. I can definitely tell when they shift in it, but I believe that is just because with both of them in there it is a little over the weight recommendation. It is not enough to put me off balance or anything it just feels like a little tug backwards. I also have the luggage rack (which I highly recommend as well) on top which I take picnic lunches on and it works great for that. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
Just as expected.

I am really happy with this bike trailer. It is really good quality and it is nice and sturdy. Great hauling capacity and rolls easily. It is just what I was expecting from the description and picture here.
Perfect for dogs on the go...

I bought this for my std. Wiredhaired dashhounds Hazel and Della I found it easy to assemble and there was plenty of room for my girls. They are still getting used to going for rides but the doggie ride and cargo rack were exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered the pad with the Novel trailer to provide a comfortable surface for my dog to rest on. So far, it's working out great. It's easy to brush off the cover and I think my dog is getting a cushioned ride.

My Italian Greyhound LOVES to go fast in her cart. I use an electric EZIP bike to haul her around. I also can make it into a stroller which she loves to go Antique shopping in. This is my second one, the other just got used so much I had to replace. I go to Florida in winter in my MotorHome, this becomes my mode of transportation as I do not bring a car.

I forgot to mention that we are so glad that we got the fitted pad for the trailer. Makes the ride really comfy for them! Highly recommend!!! The extra leash set works well too, so I can hook up two pups on one side and one on the other.

I have two small dogs (under 12 pounds each) and there is ample room in the cabin for both dogs and groceries! I might have been able to go down a size to the mini, but I really like the standard additions on the Novel. Beware that the manufacturer/designer has made changes to the Novel not represented in the photos or advertising copy or even the manual. The kick stand is no longer standard. Also, I bought the stroller conversion, but the Novel no longer has the clamp or whatever to hold the stroller wheel while using it as a bike trailer. I need to be able to ride my bike with the dogs and then convert the unit into a stroller so I can go into stores with them. I was unhappy to find that standard option gone with the 2011 model. So, please call to see if the unit is what you see on their website. The trailer is well made and well designed. It rides smoothly. The dogs wear harnesses that are then attached to the upper portion of the cabin, keeping them INSIDE the trailer at all times. I don't have to worry about them jumping out. I would buy this unit again. It is great fun and great exercise, and the dogs love it!
