Duffel Bags

I bought the North Face Base Camp Duffel (small) in the yellow/black. I thought the yellow might be a bit obnoxious, but it's not, it's really fun. The bag is the perfect size. I purchased it for a carry-on bag because it is spacious inside, has duffel handles, as well as backpack handles so I no longer have to lug my heavy carry-on through airports on my shoulder, but instead can carry it like a backpack. I read a lot of reviews on the bag before buying it and honestly could not find any comments that were bad. It's durable, tough, water-proof, and overall a very convenient bag. Unlike most products these days that only look good in pictures, this roller looks and feels durable and well built in real life. The craftsmanship is exactly what you would expect from an Italian leather product. The size is the maximum amount (near 42 linear inches) allowed to be a carried on baggage in most major airlines; although keep in mind, it is leather and it does weigh a bit even without anything inside. The only downside is that when you roll the bag, it tends to go off balance and slightly bounces left and right because of the close distance of the 2 wheels, but that's a problem among all duffle rollers...the Milano just amplifies that by being heavier than most duffle of its size. I guess the other downside would be the price tag, it is probably one of the most expensive duffles you can find, but seeing some small handbags for $500+ from Italian and French named brands, the Milano is totally worth it."..."  Read more

I love the this duffel bag I am so happy I ordered it. Its a really big bag but not to big to be a carry on bag to store above. The picture shows the product smaller than its actually size."

I bought this duffel bag in the medium size. You can certainly fit a lot of things in it and its tough canvas like material appears really versatile. I think its best use would be for hiking or outdoor activities. I like that there are straps that allow you to put it on your back, but its not very comfortable wearing it as a backpack.
