Duffel Bags

I got this bag to replace my old roller duffle which had failed at the end handle opposite the wheels (takes alot of loading when pulling bag up stairs) and at the bottom corners where the stitching would split. This bag solved both those weakness with the hard-bottom structure with integrated end handle. Despite the hard bottom, this bag is extremely light even with aluminum rolling handle and wheels. Inside bag is quite large and has a cool feature that the space in some of the outside compartments, if not filled, can be filled by the inside contents because of the way the inside dividers are designed. My only complaint with the bag is that the fabric, though strong, isn't quite rigid enough. So that when half or 3/4 full and in the rolling position, the contents will all settle to the wheels end. Overall, I am very happy with the bag. I travel frequently to Europe and, though large, this bag can be managed on trains and narrow European hotel hallways and stairways."..."  Read more

It is so nice to find a product that is so excellent. The leather quality is as good as it gets. Plenty of pockets, It looks fantastic - absolutely beautiful. I've taken it on two trips since I've gotten it. Both times, I've had to stuff it into aircraft overhead bins, and while it's been a pretty snug fit, it has managed to fit in.... and with no marks or scratches left on the leather (amazing, considering after one of the flights, I thought it for sure it would have some scratches from the rough dividers in the overhead bins). I've had the bag in some rain (not a massive downpour though), and it still looks just as good. So well designed... it has plastic on the bottom and side, so it's protected and easy to clean where it might make contact with the ground. Only slight (very slight) issue is that the bag is a little tippy when rolling it around corners (not a problem though... just something to keep in mind). And it holds a LOT of stuff. My wife has a Piel bag that's made of the same leather. She's had it for 2 years and it looks even better with age. This is a fantastic bag - I'm 100% happy with it."..."  Read more

I got the yellow color which ended up being more of a gold than the neon yellow it looks in the picture, much to my delight. The bag is extremely sturdy. I've checked it on a plane twice. The second time I somehow managed to leave the handle a wee bit up and it got back to me bent. When I found out the handle still worked and was still solid, I was very impressed. An aside: Filling it chock-full of clothes, I have had very little problem keeping it under the 50 lb. weight limit for flights. It has also accompanied me on several road trips. I've been very happy with the construction of this bag. I must mention, however, that a big problem exists with the chemical smell of this bag. I just about passed out when I first unwrapped it and spent days spraying it with everything from Febreeze to Lysol to What Odor and airing it out because I couldn't stand my clothes smelling like that. The first time I used the bag I put fabric softener sheets in with my clothes to keep them smelling normal. On the plus side, the odor didn't seem to get into my clothes at all. Weird. Haven't used the softener sheets since, except during storage, which I do with all of my luggage. Even with the above smell problem, I have to highly recommend this bag. If you can deal with the initial odor and have lots of time to air it out, this is simply a super bag. Its a great size (right near the linear inches limit for checked bags at most airlines) and very sturdy. It's now my default travel suitcase. This is my second purchase of this exact item! I saw this bag in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So when I saw this bag in pink, I knew I had to order this bag. I initially ordered this bag as travel luggage for my daughter (very girly color). I trust Samsonite luggage and this was such a deal compared to the prices seen on other websites. The bag is very sturdy and I love the luggage tag made on the bag. Its very roomy. You cant go wrong with any luggage that has the name Samsonite on it."..."  Read more
