Quality This product is much more durable than any others and can actually be used for swimming. The only one I would trust underwater. Only drawback is it is somewhat difficulty to get on, especially if your casted arm is still has any paid due to the small opening. Worth the extra money, believe me. |

Good quality materials, however leaked Good quality materials, however leaked with my 11 year old son when practicing with his age group swim team. It worked well during kick sets. It leaked during the practice sets like butterfly, free, breast and Backstroke. Maybe you should get a size smaller than recommended. Our doctor sports orthopaedic doctor used a cotton liner under the fiberglass cast. I would recommend you find a doctor that uses the following liner and skip a cast cover all together. With the 1990 introduction of an innovative cast lining product - GORE® PROCEL® Cast Liner from W. L. Gore & Associates - fiberglass casts are now waterproof, too. The same polymer used to make GORE-TEX® fabric ski clothes and hiking suits waterproof and breathable is used in GORE® PROCEL® Cast Liner, allowing patients to bathe, shower, and even swim while wearing a fiberglass cast. |
