I love this set, because of the feminine shapes and soft wood colors. The wood is an off white, almost ivory color to give it a slight vintage look. The only down fall for me was the color of the marble in person is very different from the picture. The images show a mixture of light and medium shades of brownbeige. However, the actual marble is a dark brownchocolate color with splashes of ivory. It is still very pretty with a bigger contrast. But I would have preferred the color from the photo. I use the Edwardian Bachelor's chest in my foyer; however, I just moved it into my formal dining room and am considering replacing it in my foyer with the Edwardian Dresser. The quality of my Bachelor's chest is superior for the price I paid. I bought it locally, but am checking out Wayfair to see about ordering the matching dresser online. First off, it was basically assembled which was a huge plus - all was needed was to screw in the feet (which I didnt do anyways, as I didnt want to get a bunch of dust underneath). The wood is a nice quality hardwood, real wood not like IKEA stuff. It is a handsome piece. The wood on this chest is solid; I am very happy with this. You never know what the wood quality will be like on mail order furniture, no matter what the online description says. This is a solid well made piece, beautifully decorated carvings, perfect for the nursery I planned. The color is not bright white as in the photo; this is a good thing in my opinion. It's a cream white, not yellow cream but along those lines of creamy buttermilk. I recommend this furniture collection. I am considering getting the additional pieces in the future."..."  Read more
