I used this in a Decolav retangular sink where the faucet did not have the usual rod for closing the drain. It worked so well that I changed the drain in my master bath that had a standard 'pull rod' sink drain and replaced it with the Danz drain. The standard 'pull rod' needed regular adjusting or would fail to work. This eliminates this problem. It is a much attractive drain than I have seen at the usual 'big box' suppliers."..."  Read more

The pop up in the drain assembly is not a flimsy piece of metal attached to a plastic arm, it is the same as the pop up that came with the faucet when installed in 1987."
