Great door bell.... Really nice, eclectic/antique chime cover. Pleasant "dinnngg -- donnnnggg" sound. The cover fits a little loose to the bell housing, but other than that its great. While we were remodeling the front half of the house, that included the foyer, we came to conclusion that the old "builders special" door bell just did not reflect the update. After much searching, this line of doorbells is it. Prices are a little higher but the quality and performance reflects it. The sound is perfect pitch and louder than average. The bell sounds so nice compared to the average hardware store bell that it's worth it. They look great and their are many styles to choose from. I am very, very pleased with this purchase. This bell has a very nice ring tone with options for if you want the longer ring or shorter ring I do believe. My husband put it up and it didnt take long at all. I have a 3 and a 6 year old and they were thrilled to hear the new bell toll. I have a 1980 square foot house and we can hear it well from up stairs.
