I can't believe how hard it was to find a mechanical, hard-wired door bell that also looked nice until I got to your website! It really looks beautiful in my "Country French" kitchen and it sounds nice too! I really didn't want the electronic synthesized sound and my door bell is right in plain sight in the kitchen so I wanted something that would fit in with the decor. All I could find at the big box stores was oak, brass and plastic wireless. I have neither oak nor brass in my house and I didn't want to deal with batteries!
