Beware of uncovered screws!
Julie from Lake Geneva, WI– Verified Buyer
The quality if what you'd expect for the price, however, the more concerning piece is that there are metal screws sprinkled about the bed where it's put together. No caps to cover them or anything. It's not appealing to the eyes and overall cheapens the piece.
Looks good, sturdy enough for kids, tough-ish assembly

The bed looks great. The instructions have no words, and are full of pitfalls. For example, you need to make sure the headboards on both ends have the holes lined up so you can put dowels in them to attach the top bunk, and you need to make sure the bottom rail with two pre-drilled holes is on the end opposite the holes on the headboard, because the ladder will attach there. Also, you'll need to screw the slats onto the bed rails before you stack them (unlike the picture instructions) because it takes a good deal of pressure to get the short (too short, imho) wood screws through the slats and into the rails-- the slats have some pre-drilled holes, but the rails don't, and the slats are what keep the rails from bowing out and dropping the mattress. So, if the slats aren't screwed securely to the rails, the weight of a person and a mattress will make the side rails curve out, and down you go. So, there were several things that I had to take apart and re-assemble because the pictures weren't clear enough or the order wasn't right. If you're mechanically inclined and good with a drill, and have lots of space to lay out all the pieces before you start, it would probably go much easier. However, it looks great, and my kids are enjoying it. (I wouldn't trust an adult-weight person on the top bunk.)
Not for adults

The quality of the exterior wood is good but the middle support beam is a major flaw that broke 2 weeks after install by an adult laying down on the bed with a child. I will now have to engineer some type of steel beam instead of a cheap 2x2.

For family use at the beach. Great use of space, very sturdy, easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend. Exceeded expectations for the price.

Attractive and sturdy. Love the idea that the twin bunk can be removed as my son gets older. Took a bit of time to put together, atleast for one worn out mom. It appears to have been worth it.

Great sleep overs at Grammy Grampys
Caroline from West Rutland, VT
We bought this bunk bed so all three Granddaughters could sleep over at our house in the same room. They love it and take turns on who sleeps up top. It took my husband about 4 hours to put together which was easy and all parts needed were included. Oh it did help that he used his power screw gun. Good quality and well made will be buying another for my daughter's house in the spring.
