This is the prettiest hammock I've seen. It attaches easily to the headrests with clips and washes/dries easily.
My only gripe and the reason I deducted one star: the clips which are used to hold the ends up are tiny. I have small hands and still find them frustrating to work with. There is really no reason why they couldn't be larger. I deal with this by only leaving one end secured. The other end, where she gets into the car, I leave unsecured and just fold it up before closing the door so it doesn't get caught in the door well. This avoids having to clip/unclip every time I take my dog somewhere.
The material is very soft/velvety with some padding under the mid-section making it more comfortable for your dog. Dog hair really doesn't cling to the microfiber material. (I originally had some doubts about that!) I put a blanket down on top of it which does attract the hair. Then I can clean the blanket when needed and not have to remove the hammock so often for cleaning. If you don't use a blanket like this, you can easily shake the hair out and just wash occasionally for dirt.
I use this product in conjunction with the Seat Extender (also sold here). It isn't really necessary, but it does give my dog some support beneath the part of the hammock that extends beyond the edge of the seat. This is helpful if she has been sitting up looking out the window and falls over when I hit the brakes or otherwise do something that causes her to lose her balance.
Anyway, really love this hammock which is not only functional but also very soft to the touch as well as attractive."..." Read more
