This product provides great protection for my Doberman, as she a large female around 80 lbs. No matter if you have a car,suv or truck this product will provide an amazing level of protection. Also your dog will be able move back and forth without a problem and will not notice a different. It would be advise to train your dog with a hardness when walking them. It much easier to make dog to make a connection between hardnesses and trust me it work.s If something happen to your animal that could have been prevented it would real eat at you. Also the harndess provides a level of protection from your dog jumping out of the vehicles because of excitement. Larger dog should have the XL or X size hardness and make sure to measure and factor in some extra room to have nice fitting hardness. My Shepherd wears this whenever he is in the car which is at least 3 times a week. It is very solidly built and very padded (comfortable). I love the separate strap that attaches to your car's seatbelt's shoulder harness and stays with the car. Due to a metal ring that secures around your car's shoulder belt, the strap can slide up and down the shoulder harness so your dog can sit and stand. My old harness only attached to the shoulder and lap seatbelt so my dog was tied down and had to lie down the whole trip. With this he can sit and stand, so he doesn't feel punished or trapped yet I still think he is safe. Also, it is so much easier just to snap the strap onto the harness with the metal clip unlike other harnesses that you have to struggle with the seat belt to attach (usually my dog was sitting on the seat belt so it was always difficult). This separate clip-on strap is such a tremendously useful idea, and I haven't seen any other car harness with this feature. Highly recommended!"..."  Read more

I like using this harness and its restraining strap that plugs into the car seatbelt buckle. The harness itself is stylish and comfy for my dog. Very easy to use! I can leave it on to and from the car and just click her leash on and off. It allows my dog some room to wiggle but keeps her from going head first into dash board or windshield.
