My 13-year old dog tore a knee ligament and needed to undergo surgery. She could no longer walk the one block to the local park where she'd do her "business." We have been doing this twice a day for 8 years. So I ordered this stroller online. This is the perfect size for my 21-lb Shiba Inu. The stroller is low enough so that she could hop on and off easily. I thought it would take a few days to train her to use it. But she learned to hop in and out literally within one minute, and settled in happily. Yesterday, it was raining hard. She sat high and dry inside while I had to brave the rain on the walk! When it is not raining, I unzip the top cover so that she can stick her head out to look around. As for putting the stroller together, the cross bar was a little hard to set in place. I needed a second person to help me because the bar is inside and is awkward to do. But after that, it was easy. I have seen other models in a local store, but they are mostly too high off the ground. If my dog could not hop in easily, it defeats the purpose of helping with her post-op recovery. Everybody I met at the park remarked on how cute my dog looks in it, and how a great idea it is!"..."  Read more

I bought this for my extremely cute, but rather large and elderly dog. He's 66 pounds, somewhere around 33 inches long from nose to booty. He fits in the stroller best if sitting up, but he can't stay sitting up long. He just barely fits laying down, but he's comfortable. A larger dog may not be. The stoller is easy to put together, it's sturdy, easy to steer, and rides very smoothly. It's comfortable to push; I'm not kicking it with every step. It's surprisingly easy to get my dog in it even though he can barely walk on his own (he's almost 15). He seems to enjoy getting out of the house, and I've been getting lots of exercise. I haven't been able to walk him in months, so this was a real spirit lifter for a doggy mom. The only downside is that it does not fit through my door, but I wouldn't want it any smaller. So I'm happy to just break it down (which is very easy)and then carry it through on its side. Overall, this stroller is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone with a semi-large dog (sheppard or mastiff sized dogs are probably too big, but it's great for pit bull sizes)."..."  Read more

My senior dog doesn't always want to complete his walk, so I put him in the stroller to make it home. The Novel is well made, easy to push and versatile. I have both the swivel stroller wheel and the fixed jogger wheel. For city streets and sidewalks the swivel wheel is much more maneuverable. It's very easy to switch wheels and to remove all 3 wheels and collapse the whole unit to go in the car. Assembly took less than 15 minutes. The only thing I wish was included is a brake beyond the parking brake. We live in a hilly area and it's not always easy to control a stroller loaded with 72 pounds of dog going downhill, a caliper brake system would really help. Of course, that would add a lot to the cost and complicate assembly, so I'm quite satisfied and would recommended the Novel highly."..."  Read more

My Bulldog loves his stroller. Easily assembled, and a great design. My Bulldog is able to climb in by himself. He loves to stroll around Brooklyn in style. And the stroller does double duty. He uses it as his "crib." He loves to sleep in his stroller. Another reviewer mentioned this about their bulldog...must be a bulldog thing. It's sturdy and big enough to hold a larger breed or a few peewees. It is a bit on the cumbersome side when it comes to maneuvering tight turns. But it's a dream to push on the straightaway. The stroller folds down but it is still the same width when folded. Not a problem for me because it stays up most of the time. I highly recommend this stroller."..."  Read more
