I would have to say the product is normally useful and well constructed. However,one of my dogs just had an FHO operation (removal of femoral head on hip bone). This large dog hasn't got enough strength to pull himself up the rather narrow ramp with one hind leg that is still weak. We have tried to assist him but the one leg won't stay on the ramp. As of now, the ramp is totally useless for a dog this problem and he's understandably scared of it now. We still have to lift him in the car.
