These are the BEST dog boots! I have tried several different brands, styles and types but these REALLY stay on... you have to wrap the velco very securely around the paws b/c if not, they will come off easily in water or mud! If put on properly, they are terrific to keep the mud, grass ect... from getting so embedded into the paws. People tease me about putting boots on our dogs, but it is so much easier to put them on than to try to get all the mud off their paws before they get on the carpet. I just toss them into the washing machine, let them air dry (sometimes under a ceiling fan overnight if I need them for the next day) then they are ready to be put back on! They are pricey but well worth the money! This is my 3rd pair to buy for our dogs and these boots really last unlike other types I have tryed... I tried the wax that some places may recommend but it's such a pain to put it on. This product is not bad and although it takes patience for your dog to get used to it, the investment is definitely worth it. The first time i put these on my pit was trying to kick them off.
