Our large dog has always loved stealing a nap in his crate. And we love having a crate readily available for him. The problem was, dog crates have always been an eye sore, no matter how you try to hide them. We now have our solid wood dog crate/table from Crown Pets and couldn't be happier. It is EXACTLY as pictured. We purchased the large since our dog is a big fella, and it is as large as we expected. I have placed a nice thick rectangle bed inside and we keep the door tucked open (just like in the picture) so he can come and go as he pleases. I own a dog daycare center and have been buying crates for over 6 years. One thing Ive noticed is that the quality is going down and the price is going up. I bought 11 of these crates and they are ok for the price, but they have the best crate pan in them around. The pans that typically come with crates these days crack VERY easily. In my experience the pans that came with these crates (which is why I bought these particular crates) hold up VERY well. So Im happy with the pans, but the crates could be a built a bit better. I show dogs so I need good quality, sturdy crates. These crates are easy to set up and take down and do not require the extra room to fold up the way the other style of folding crates do. These crates are stylish in shiny chrome and are much more attractive than the black wire crates. They come with a handle which makes them easy to carry as well. I have 8 Siberian Huskies who sleep indoors in crates at night. These crates replace the ones I bought many years ago which became rusty, but still very functional. The quality of the new crates is the same as the previous ones, but since they're epoxy coated, they won't rust as quickly.
