This is a good compromise between the space it takes up compared a full size unit. Tightly packaged and alot less then traditional portable units in the past.

Yes it costs real money, but you get what you pay for. I'd read all the reviews I could find before purchasing this model, and all the others fell short. This one heats the water for geniunely cleanYes it costs real money, but you get what you pay for. I'd read all the reviews I could find before purchasing this model, and all the others fell short. This one heats the water for geniunely clean dishes, and interior components look and feel as well made as a full sized unit. No drying element, but I've owned two Bosch built-ins in previous houses without that - as with them, just crack open the door at end of cycle and heat and evaporation do the work (Yes you'll have water on the bottom of a cup if it's loaded without an angle.) It's louder than a Bosch, but not by much and certainly not annoying. Mine's logo says MINEA, not PREMIA, but they're the same French company and same machine as advertised. I did have to buy a $3 adaptor for my faucet; once that was in place, their snap-fit hose connector works perfectly - no leaks. It's a bit inconvenient to have to be at home (and awake!) to turn water off and detach hoses at end of cycle (though I'm sure this will increase hose life), and to not have use of the sink faucet while it's running, and of course I can't fit big pots and pans in with a couple place settings of dishes, but absolutely worth it to have a real dishwasher in this tiny kitchen."..."  Read more
