I purchased these dishes because I needed a dish my 17 month old would have difficulty moving (and throwing), expecially while eating out. I was not disappointed. The rubber on the bottom of the dish makes sure the dish stays put. Unfortunately, when placed in the top rack of my dishwasher, any of the "non-slip" rubber that touched the rack melted. Althouh disappointed, I exchanged the melted dishes for a new set and have vowed to committ to hand washing these particular dishes. In short, the dishes fullfilled my purposes and washing one or two by hand did not matter to me, as long as the original problem was solved."..."  Read more
