Dresser unit was damaged before shipping as there was a repair done, but is hidden by ladder so not an issue. My girls are having a blast choosing who sleeps where each night. Was this helpful? We ordered this bed as opposed to a toddler bed for our daughter. She absolutely loves it and is only 14 months old! Bed rails fit perfectly and we feel it is 100% safe. My 4yo son loves it has well. the only disappointing thing for me is that the foundation is metal, that isnt very strong. I was expecting wood slats. Also, one of the wheels broke as soon as a grown, not overweight man sat on the side of the bed. So the wheels need to be bigger/stronger. Overall though, happy with purchase Was this helpful? Little sister has the top bunk and every night she can't wait to get helped up into her "tall" bed. The dresser and shelves have helped free up alot of space in the room and the overall quality of the unit is good. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the stairs are slippery and could use some sort of non-slip material on them. The finish is lighter than i expected but it is beautiful all set up. The built in dresser is perfect and the drawers are very well built with more room than I expected. One of the pre-drilled was off a good 1/4 inch and had to really push the limits of the dowel connecting posts to make it work but was able to get it together.
